Passenger turnover in Sanya Phoenix International Airport is approaching 3.84 million for the 1st half of 2009, accommodating 28,532 flights and transported 49,504.8 tons of cargo & mail. The year-on-year increase was 33%, 25% and 26% respectively ranking No. 1 in the growth rate among the 5-million-passenger airports across the country.
