Kashi Airport terminal expansion to start in October

The retrofit and expansion project of the terminal area of Kashi Airport terminal Kashi City, Kashi Prefecture, will start in October following its approval at a cost of RMB 170 million (about US$22.48 million). The project will include a new terminal building with an area of 17,000 sq.m., and an office building occupying 2,000 sq.m. The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) will provide RMB 68 million, with the rest provided by Xinjiang Airport Group. Kashi Airport is one of the biggest 4E grade regional airports in China.
