China, Pakistan sign control transfer agreement

On October 7, Xinjiang Air Traffic Management Bureau (ATMB) of the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) and the Pakistan National Air Traffic Management signed a control transfer agreement in Urumqi. According to the implementing RVSM work plan of ATMB, the signing of the control transfer agreement with Pakistan signifies that Xinjiang ATMB of CAAC has successfully concluded the signing of seven domestic and foreign control transfer agreements as well as the memorandum of understanding. The director, Cao Qiong, and vice director, Zeng Zhaolin of Xinjiang ATMB of CAAC, signed the agreement, and later participated in an interview with the delegates from Pakistan. They were also able to discuss the issues concerning the implementation of the reduced vertical separation minimum (RVSM) and further bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the aviation field.
