Aershan Airport project approved by NDRC

China’s National Development and Reform Commission has approved the Aearshan Airport project feasibility examination, paving the way for the start of construction. The airport’s design and general plan are almost finished. Aershan Airport is a small domestic tourism airport. It is estimated that by 2015, the airport’s passenger throughput will reach 290,000 and 1,782 tons of cargo and mail annually. With a total investment for the project of RMB 256 million, the airport will be finished in 19 months.
