NDRC approves Chengdu control center project

China’s National Development and Reform Commission approved the feasibility report of Chengdu Regional Control Center project on June 26.
The air traffic management facility will be finished by 2015. The project consists of a new air traffic control center occupying 8,500 sq.m., air traffic management training building occupying 3,670 sq.m, a new air traffic management automatic primary system, and a VHF remote control system. Total investment for the project is RMB 830 million.
