Civil aviation statistics from the 2013 Transport Industry Development Bulletin

The Ministry of Transport of the People's Republic of China released the 2013 Statistical Bulletin of the Transport Industry’s Development. The bulletin shows that at the end of 2013, there were 193 civil airports in China. Among them, 190 airports in 188 cities operated regularly scheduled flights. There were 61 airports with an annual throughput of over 1 million passengers, 4 more than last year; 24 airports with an annual throughput of 10 million passengers, 3 more than last year; and 50 airports with an annual cargo throughput of over 10 thousand tons, 1 more than last year.
