Nanjing Lukou Airport’s Main Construction Completed

Lukou Airport’s main construction has completed, with the airport passing its flight inspection and test flight on June 3rd. It will be put into operation next month.

In the airport’s Phase II expansion project, 51 new parking bays and 30,000 square meters of cargo space were built. With construction completed, the annual passenger flow will reach 30 million, which is more than double that of the Phase I project. The airport can operate all kinds of airline and cargo planes and will allow for the operation of long-haul flight routes longer than 12 hours.
