16 helicopters and 18 pilots - Air Rescue Brigade established in Deyang, Sichuan Province

The office of emergency management of Deyang City established an Air Rescue Brigade, Demolition Blasting Rescue Brigade and Building Disaster Brigade. The Air Rescue Brigade is the province's first and largest rescue brigade formed by a local government. The team includes 16 helicopters and 18 pilots with the main responsibility of undertaking work in emergency air transport, investigative search, aerial mapping, search and rescue, forest fire prevention, medical assistance, police activities and other emergencies occurring in Sichuan. It can also provide cross-regional support.
